SCOTUS Grants Trump Emergency Powers

A landmark decision was made by the U.S. Supreme Court today. The court ruled 5-4 in favor of President Donald Trump being granted emergency powers including the ability to serve an extra term due to the current emergency situation.

The president will be given power over all 50 states and the Senate will be dissolved of its power. He will be given the final say in all matters during the course of the emergency. This ruling comes after a long battle in the senate over the legality of this measure.

The proposal was first put forward by Senator Binks and co-sponsored by Senator Joe Barron:

“In response to this direct threat to the Republic, mesa propose that the senate give immediately emergency powers to the Supreme Chancellor.”

Democrats were completely opposed to this proposal, saying that the president would abuse these powers and use them to become an “emperor.”

Republicans say that is impossible and only happens in movies.

Democrat Senator Amidala of New York strongly condemned the decision:

“This ruling is an affront to the Constitution. I will not condone an action that will lead us to war. I will not defer. I’ve come before you to resolve this attack on our sovereignty now. I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee! If this body is not capable of action, I suggest new leadership is needed. I move for a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Trump’s leadership!”

Trump was humble as always upon hearing the ruling:

“It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love democracy. I love the Republic. Once this crisis has abated, I will lay down the powers you have given me!”

This is good news for all freedom-loving Americans. We will now be safe with the president now able to call the shots without interference from meddling Democrats. Plus, he will have an extra 4 years, making him president for a total of 12 years.

This more than makes up for the time lost to the impeachment hoax. Our future is looking as bright as the brightest star.
